1. Mission Statement :

We help the students of Durgapur Govt. College to become leaders in their careers and communities by preparing themselves for lifelong professional success with a sense of confidence, optimism and happiness. For this, we collaborate with academic world and companies to create placement opportunities. We work with a wide range of professionals with all kinds of skills, passions, values and career motivations to help our students in comprehending their thoughts and feeling about work and education and how these can be resolved.

Counselors: We seek to understand the difficulties of our students in navigating a career that is both rewarding and fulfilling. Our members campaign in various departments from time. They encourage students to make charts for creating awarenes among the young professionals.

Students Empowerment

We work with a wide range of professionals with all kinds of skills, passions, values and career motivations to help our students in comprehending their thoughts and feeling about work and education and how these can be resolved.

Students who seek career advising, internship, job search or resume questions can schedule an appointment by sending emails to careerguidanceplacementcell@gmail.com or connect with us on Facebook. They can also stop by for a 10-15 minute session with one of our Career Advisors. These meetings are tailored to meet each individual student’s needs. Whether they are choosing a major, exploring career possibilities, or are beginning to search for internships and jobs, we help them identify next steps in the process, connect with resources, and create a plan. At the end of the appointment, our advisor help them to identify their next steps and action items, and may suggest a follow-up appointment.
